Claire Bates
Tilia Yoga & Nature
I’m Claire, a yoga teacher, forest therapy guide, and wild food foraging educator, and I’m here to support you on your journey to self-discovery, balance, and connection with nature.
My Story
I have ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia, and for most of my life, I struggled with feeling out of sync with the world. My mind was always fast-moving, my focus unpredictable, and traditional environments never quite fit. I chose to build my business in nature because it’s where I find clarity, peace, and healing.
Yoga, foraging, and the natural world became my anchors, helping me tune into my body, regulate my energy, and cultivate kindness and compassion—both for myself and others. Now, I share these powerful tools with others who crave balance, connection, and self-acceptance.
Why I Do This
I believe in turning challenges into strengths. Nature and yoga helped me do that, and I want to help others slow down, reconnect, and feel truly present.
Becoming self-employed was a way for me to create a space where neurodivergent minds, busy thinkers, and deep feelers can find calm and clarity—without the pressure to fit into a rigid system. Through my seasonal, nature-inspired yoga, forest therapy, and foraging experiences, I guide others to embrace their own rhythm, tune into their bodies, and heal through movement, breath, and nature’s wisdom.
